South Africa: Banks caught in Currency manipulation Scandal

International Banks collude with local banks to Manipulate South Africa's Currency

South Africa has been experiencing a strange weakening of the currency against the US dollar and others since late 2000’s, early 2001 as far as we can tell. During that time, a whistle blower named Kevin Wakeford, chief executive of the South African Business chamber, blew the whistle on 3 big corporations and a global Bank when the Rand collapsed from R7.60 to R13.80 to the dollar. 20 years later the Rand continues to be on a downward spiral. 28 banks have been accused in the scandal along with international banks from the United states of America, Britain , Europe, New Zealand and Asia.

Standard Chartered Bank, from London is among the accused and has since confessed to the crime of currency  manipulation, and is willing to assist in the investigation against the other 28 banks. They have also been accused of crimes against the state, along with private sector interests in attempt to collapse the government. Countless lives and lively hoods have been lost in the process of the mass looting of national funds, through price hikes and what now appears to be unfair bank charges and fees.

Everyday South Afrikans are wondering what they should do in response to this egregious revelation of currency manipulation. How has this adversely contributed to the countries economic woes?, could it be possible to ever recover the years lost of economic development? how much money have these banksters stolen in all that time? What is state capture? do we even know? One might argue this is the true state capture, economic apartheid and neo-colonial exploitation of South Afrika. The Black man and woman continue to be on the receiving end of this crime against the state and the people, further exacerbating economic hardships felt by everyday melanated South Africans.

As we continue to ask these questions about our country and its economic future, one thing remains fundamentally clear, those responsible must hunted down, investigated, assets frozen and confiscated, repatriated to the citizens of South Africa and they, the banksters and the private sector cohorts thrown in jail. This under every circumstance must be considered an act of treason of the highest order against the state and the accused must be charged as such.
